You can click and make a graph!

  1. Read these directions. Talk with other students or with the teacher about any questions.
  2. Click on Create new page.
  3. Name your new page the usual way: Name_Project; for example Vincent_BudgetBarGraphing.
  4. Look at the bottom of the templates list for "Budget_Bar_Graphing" and click the round button at left. Next scroll down and click the red button Create New Page.
  5. Click Save in the lower left corner (you will work on this assignment a different way than in the past).
  6. Look at Spreadsheet #1. Type in any information you like, and then check with the teacher.
  7. When you are done practicing with the tools on this mini-spreadsheet, edit Spreadsheet #1 to describe the Vu family budget expenses.
  8. Remember to click the floppy disk icon to save your work.
  9. Scroll down. Use Spreadsheet #2 to enter information about your own expenses.
  10. Again, remember to click the floppy disk icon to save your work.
  11. Click Edit this page and delete these instructions (don't do this to the template page).
  12. Write a sentence or two about your expenses. Is there anything you can or might like to do to save money?
  13. Click the Save button again and you're done!
